I was taking avapro for long time and I did not have any side effects

My doctor has prescribed one tablet daily as an ongoing treatment.

I questioned my doctor when he put me on this drug. He said that he also took it. I have taken Avapro for about 5 years and have felt better than at any time during the past 20 years of being on other BP drugs. Only once did my BP go up and that was due to extreme stress. I was temporarily treated for that and my BP returned to usual low pressure readings and I again felt well. Recently I was informed that my insurance will not pay for Avapro so I will look for a generic equivalency.

Have taken Avapro with success for many years! Since there is now a genetic drug to replace it, insurance will not cover it anymore! So will start a genetic drug to replace Avapro. Hopefully it will work for me.

I have been on literally dozens of medications which have not worked as well and have left me with substantial side effects. Avapro is the first that works this well. My one issue is that my prescription plan gives me a hard time over it.. they want me on a less effective cheaper medication with more side effects so I have to pay for it out of pocket

Have been taking Avapro for about 5 years for high blood pressure. The days I skip (just plain forget) I know it! I start seeing little tiny sparkles in the corners of my vision. I am very happy with this medication, little expensive, even with insurance, but easy to take, once a day, and I do notice the difference.

It works well. I have been out of work for months without insurance and wondering if there a generic or other product that will work as well for less money?

For the bitter taste, try placing the pill in a vegetal gel cap, available at health food stores. They come in different sizes.

Very effective. Bitter taste only negative.
