Ceftin & Biaxin seem to be working for me I'm currently taking Ceftin, Biaxin, & hydroxycholorquine. I've been on antibiotics for most of 2 years and this combination might actually work for me; I'm feeling better than I have for quite a while.

I've also been on doxycycline (with & without hydroxychloroquine), Biaxin with hydroxychloroquine, & flagyll.

Ceftin has been tough of my digestive system, giving me almost-diarrhea for the time I've been on it (about a month).

after 10 days my symptoms went away

Best when combined with Biaxin! Ceftin is expensive, but a good drug to start with, for example if you are just bitten and you have Lyme, and no co-infections. I took 3000 mg per day, along with 2000 of Biaxin plus a shot of Bicillin and this combination works great. Ceftin isn't so great by itself, but great when combined with Biaxin or Zithromax.

ceftin my nine year old takes ceftin for Lyme and he seems to be getting used to it. It doesn't seem to be working as well. It worked pretty good for a few months.

good After 4 months I am still taking the ceftin with no problems except the size, taste and color (dye) added to the pill, itself. My teeth are becomming stained but it is worth to almost feel well! It worked almost immediately and continues to allow me to function as almost a member of society.

Ceftin Good in use with other antibiotics for chronic lyme.

I had a very bad cough and my doctor prescribed me Ceftin. This drug is amazing and i felt better within a day. I neve felt nauseous and i never got sick once or had a bad reaction. Unfortunately i did hate the taste and had problems taking it with water, but taking it with milk is my reccomendation as it makes you feel better fter you take it.

I was on amoxil for a sinus infection when it came back I had nasty sore throats every night which were gone within 24 hours of beginning this medication. It does taste horrible but I found a suggestion on another site to coat the pill in honey which works great. I don't taste the bitterness at all. It is a little rough on my stomach if I take it with milk or yogurt it seems to stop me from having stomach pains.

I am an allergy sufferer (dogs, mold, 3 types of weeds such as pigweed, dustmites, etc) and was prescribed this medication by my Allergist. Thus far it has helped and would recommend it for anyone who suffers from a bacterial allergy...

Was on Augmentin for 6 days and was getting progressively worse, my throat almost swollen shut, I starting feeling better after one day on this medication. Tastes horrible but well worth it!
