I had been off birth-control for a year & hadn't gotten pregnant so my OB/GYN recommended I take this drug to regulate my ovulation.

My starting Clomid dose was 50 mg once daily for five days. The Clomid dosage was increased to 100 mg and ovulation occured. My doctor will helped me to determine that ovulation has occurred using an ultrasound.

After a first successful pregnancy, my attempts at a second were not succeeding. Medical tests showed my ovulation hormones were very low and my period was very erratic and sometimes non existant. This coincides with my history of polycistic ovariaries. A dosage of Clomid was initiated with the aim of increasing hormones to correct levels, produsing measurable ovulation and resulting regular menstrual periods. Clomid caused some quite uncomfortable side effects initially ie dizziness, vomitting, unclear mental thoughts and stomach sensitivity, which onoccassons sent me to bed for recovery. Over time as my body absorbed clomid and adjusted to the hew level of hormones, the side effects stopped. Whilst not inducing a pregancy, it allowed my obstercian to focus on other possible problems. Overall, Clomid did exactly what it is designed to do - stimulate ovulation. I would recommend its use.

this would have been my third month taking 100mg of clomid but it worked!! i would take them days 3-7 of my cycle and get a blood draw on day 21. they had even told me i didnt ovulate. but i wouldn't get my period and come to find out im pregnant!! so everyone is different. we don't all ovulate at the same time. don't give up ladies and keep praying.

I wrote back January 6th. About getting pregnant after trying 4 years ago. I will be 34 weeks pregnant tomorrow! I was so worried I would never make it here. After being on clomid I was so scared of having a miscarriage, but thank God there is a healthy baby girl inside me and she should be here in just a few weeks. Don't give up! It can happen to you to!

Hey i have read somany of you post with clomid.i have taken this med before and had success with my frist shot, but had a misscarrage. and then me and my bf broke up. am from jamaica thats was where i got treated, am living inthe state and am married, me and my husband has been trying but my problem is my husband had a vascestomy and the had it reverse couple years ago. my dr back home send me clomid to try and see if it going to work but amd not sure if its going to becuz of my husband's situtation. and my doc forgot to give me the intro on how many days to wait after period to start having sex. my dosage is 50mg two tablets once per day.. if any onehave any idea plz let me know, thank you.... god bless, i just want my dream of being a mom,an 26 years old...

Im on my first month of clomid 50mg. I have had no side affects and im hoping this medicine works. Good luck to all.

I have PCOS. I was taking Metformin but it did not seem to be working and stopped my periods. My Gyno prescribed Provera along with Clomid. I recieved my results yesterday that showed my first month on 50mg worked & Gyno is happy. So now just waiting and seeing each month !!

HELLO LADIES I AM 24 AND MY HUSBAND IS 36 AND WE HAVE BEEN TOGETHER FOR 6YRS AND MARRIED FOR 4YRS AND SO DURING THAT TIME WE WASNT REALLY USING PROTECTION REGULARLY BUT I NEVER HAD REGULAR PERIODS I WOULD SKIP 3 TO 6MTHS, BUT BEING A TEENAGER I THOUGHT IT WAS GREAT! SO ABOUT A FEW MTHS AGO I WENT TO THE DR. AND HE DIAGNOSED ME WITH PCOS AND PUT ME ON METHFORMIN(HORMONE DIABETICS)TO SEE IF IT WOULD REGULATE ME, I TAKE 2000MG A DAY AND LAST MTH I GOT MY FIRST CYCLE WHICH WAS A GOOD SIGN, THEN I WAS SCHEDULED FOR A HSG(TO CHECK FALLOPIAN TUBES) THEY WERE GREAT, SO MAY 21 THE DR. DECIDED THAT IF BY JULY 21 IF I AM NOT PREGNANT HE WOULD PUT ME ON CLOMID BUT I PRAY THAT IT WORKS BEFORE THEN. GOOD LUCK LADIES NEVER GIVE UP BUT I KEEP YOU UPDATED!!!!

I dont know if it has worked yet. I am still in my first cycle of 50mg. Although the HOT FLASHES are pretty intense. I mean dripping sweat hot flashes. But other than that, so far so good. Good luck ladies!
