Flomax I use Flomax in combination with Detrol LA to control my once totally out of control bladder due to MS. Both drugs are effective for me but the combination has given me my life back in many ways. I do not have to know where every bathroom is before I go somewhere and I no longer live in fear of an unexpected accident. My bladder gave no warning before the meds, once "bathroom" entered my head I needed to be in one because I was going. I find the side effect of dry mouth does not even compare to the luxury of having some control again.

Experienced frequent urination late at night. Flomax has been helpful to help alleviate most of this problem. The drug promotes a better flow of urine and therefore you empty your bladder more fully.

A Mixed Bag I've had prostatitis since my early twenties. For no good reason, swelling suddenly occurs making urination difficult. Doctors always did same thing: Prostate exam (yuck!) and prescribe antibiotics occasionally with anti-inflammatories. After years of the same treatment I finally got the doctor to trust my own diagnosis and at least skip the prostate exam. That was the major improvement in my treatment. Until last November when my GP prescribed Flomax. Having seen the lame commercials on TV I was reluctant at first. However, I'm glad I took his advice. This stuff is the first medication to significantly improve my prostatitis symptoms, particularly those associated with urination like being able to control stream. That being said, it seems like sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't, and I can't seem to predict when or why. Also, it has contributed significantly to constipation.

A Big Help I take this along with Bethanechol, to make my bladder work correctly. I had been getting some UTIs/bladder infections, so I FINALLY went to a urologist. My bladder was not emptying well, which meant it refilled fast. I had both frequency & urgency problems. Problems solved!

Once kidney stones were ruled out as the cause, the choices were to "wait it out," or to try this medication. Directions were pretty straightforward---take the pill after a meal; don't drive if feeling dizzy or drowsy; drink plenty of water.

have no problems with remaining flacid, but have semen problems; sometimes no semen, sometimes just a little bit of semen ejaculate - has anyone else had muscle weakness problems?

After 2 weeks of taking FLOMAX I have noticed a slight improvement in my BPH symptoms..

still have a weak stream.but not going as much at night.vision blurry and im having some facial spasms
